GuidenU4Life offers professional development workshops that are specifically designed to equip individuals with the fundamental tools to transform the lives of disadvantaged youth within their local communities. Our interactive workshops provide beneficial tools to enhance the knowledge base and skill-set of all individuals who work with youth. This includes: youth groups leaders, youth pastors, outreach workers, program coordinators, program directors, mentors, and the like.
At the conclusion of our professional development workshop offerings, participants will:
- Develop skills to improve at risk youth achievement
- Learn how to advocate effectively for at-risk youth communities
- Gain skills to build sustainable networks and resources to support at-risk youth

About the Founder
Louis Guiden Jr., CEO
Louis Guiden is a Certified Gang Specialist and Gang Counselor through The National Gang Crime Research Center in Chicago, Illinois. In 2010, the NGCRC awarded and recognized him for his contribution to gang prevention, intervention, and research.
In 2008, he founded the H.O.P.E. Project, a program of Good Shepherd Youth Outreach, which provides mentoring, outreach, training, support, and resources for young men both within juvenile facilities and after their release. Good Shepherd Youth Outreach is a 501c3 tax exempt organization whose mission is to educate, empower, and equip promising, at-risk minority youth to transform their lives.
Louis Guiden Jr., has built a solid reputation for community mobilization, organizational capacity building, and intervention strategies reaching the growing population of at-risk youth. In addition to his other achievements, Mr. Guiden is a Professional Development Trainer, a highly regarded Motivational Speaker, Certified Life Coach, and a Peer Counselor. He has delivered keynote addresses to organizations such as Washington State Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration, King County Juvenile Court, Washington State Mentors, The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, the University of Washington, City of Seattle Youth Violence Initiative, Faith-Based Gang Intervention, The School to Prison Pipeline Symposium and the National Mentoring Partnership’s Summit. It is, however, his ability to speak to, relate to, and transform the lives of young people that is his greatest gift and highest goal.
